The Jacksonville Beach Adult Day Services center serves people with I/DD living in Ponte Vedra Beach and surrounding coastal communities. Many individuals who attend the program live with families, so the focus of our program is to provide a meaningful daytime experience. We provide systematic training, using repetition to help them learn skills. Additionally, we take participants on excursions to the bowling alley, restaurants and the Jacksonville Zoo, as well engage them in art classes that cover working with materials such as oils, acrylics, ceramics, and clay. Each and everyday we are teaching life skills, including interacting with the community.
