Kathy P. Jackson, Executive Director
Kathy has served as the Executive Director since 1984.  She is a graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelors Degree in Social Work, a minor in Education, and course work in Business Administration.  Her professional career began in 1979 in her home town of Perry, Florida where she began as the Social Worker for the Taylor County Association for Retarded Citizens and, after ten months was promoted to Executive Director.  She then went on to serve as the Director of Children’s Services at the Upper Pinellas Association for Retarded Citizens before being recruited to direct the ARC of the St. Johns. 

Dave Vinson, Director of Residential Services 
Dave joined The Arc of the St. Johns in 2001 with over 15 years of experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities such as autism and spina bifida.  Dave holds a degree in Psychology from the University of North Florida and is certified as an associate behavior analyst in Florida.  In addition to managing 8 group homes he also supervises the 10 In-Home Support houses and the Behavioral Department. 

Mary Williamson, Director of the Adult Day Training Program
 
Before joining the staff at ARC of the St. Johns in 1985, she worked at a program for the developmentally disabled in Santa Barbara, CA. There she developed an arts program for individuals with developmental disabilities.  Mary earned her Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts from the University of California at Santa Barbara and continues to do her art work when not working at the ARC.    

Lynne Funcheon, Community Resource Director 
Lynne joined The Arc of the St. Johns in 1991 and has 18 years of experience in working with individuals with autism, spina bifida and other severe developmental disabilities. Lynne holds a BA in English with a Minor in Psychology from Flagler College. In addition to managing services to the near 60 individuals in the Supported Employment Program, she also oversees the Vocational Rehabilitation Contract and Non Residential Community Based Day Programs.

Paulette M. Hudson, Children’s Services Director
Paulette was hired in 1986 to start TLC as a preschool program. She has  Bachelors degrees in Special Education and Elementary Education from California University of Pennsylvania. She started working with children with special needs at the age of 14 when she got a job with a YMCA summer camp in her hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She received her certification as a Behavior Analyst in 1989, and is a Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst (BCaBA).

Neal Benson, Development Director 
Neal joined The ARC of the St. Johns in February 0f 2008 as the agency’s first director of financial and resource development.  Aside from the task of establishing the office and operation of a full-time development function, Neal’s first assignment was to plan, launch and manage the campaign to fund the construction of a new facility for the Therapeutic Learning Center for Children.  The campaign’s success resulted in the August 2009 groundbreaking and the projected opening of the new facility in mid-2010.  Neal has applied his professional experience of more than thirty years in financial development for not-for-profits in enhancing the agency’s brand recognition, prospect and donor data management, and internal and external communications and community relations.
