Supported Employment Services -- is committed to securing fulfilling employment for people with disabilities. By supporting individuality and diversity, ITEC encourages each person’s meaningful participation in the community.
The Community Employment Program offers people the supports necessary to obtain and maintain employment in the community. The ‘natural supports’ model is used to help the new employee and employer become comfortable with each other. Qualified program participants are assisted in determining what type of employment they are likely to succeed in. Career planning, job analysis/match, job development, job placement, job coaching, follow along services, and counseling services are offered. Advocacy is provided on an ongoing basis along with career advancement and job-site accommodations.
