The Therapeutic Learning Center -- (TLC) of The Arc of the St. Johns provides a fun, exciting and stimulating environment for children with exceptional needs, delivered by skilled and caring professionals, giving each child the very best opportunity to develop and apply skills and abilities that will lead to a less dependent environment in the future.
Now, in the new millennium, it is time for us to evaluate how we can take the next step in providing an even better environment where these demands are met, where measured efficiencies are considered and implemented, and where children begin at birth a wonderful and satisfying journey into a productive future.
But…we can’t even come close in our current facility: a rented county office with less than 1,500 square feet, and an uncomfortable expectation that we will be required to relocate almost on a moment’s notice – As we have on 10 occasions since 1986. The TLC Home Campaign is under-way to secure $1.6 million for the construction of a new facility where we can meet the demands of a growing need. VISIT TLC WEBSITE >
